Looking for an individual who is willing to do a wide variety of tasks around the ranch. Must be able to lift at least 75lbs regularly. Compassion and long term animal experience is a must.
Small private horse farm looking for a hard working individual who can manage the day to day residential and agricultural duties including but not limited to those listed.
Perform light handyman and technical duties, including some repairs and maintenance of equipment, structures, and systems on the ranch, if possible.
Candidate should have a flexible schedule and willing to work occasional weekends, holidays, evenings, etc as needed. This full-time position does require 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies.
Ability to handle emergency situations effectively and professionally
Conscientious: Attention to detail. Finishes duties mindfully, effectively, and promptly with a proactive problem-solving approach.
Feeding horses, cleaning stalls and waterers, keeping barn clean and tidy. Turnout and rotation of horses depending on weather. Stack hay and shavings, unload grain. Other animals care and feeding.
- Experience handling horses, landscape upkeep and maintenance
- Hard working self starter, organized and detail focused
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and start/complete tasks and duties
- Effective and efficient time management and communication skills
This is a full time, year round position. No medical or retirement benefits are currently offered. Bi-annual performance reviews will be conducted
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal records check.
