Snake River Ranch
The Snake River Ranch is located in beautiful Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This is a working cattle ranch. Between the end of June and the first weekend of September, the owners of the ranch come from all over the US to stay. During the summer we hire a cook and kitchen assistant to provide breakfast, lunch and dinner six days a week for up to 22 people a meal. We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant who is responsible for setting the table, clearing and doing the dishes, dining room presentation (the table and the food). The assistant needs to invoice guests and track meal counts. The assistant will also assist in the unloading and storage of groceries, proper rotation and handling of lettuces and vegetables, keeping track of items needed for the shopping trips, assisting with food presentation, making salads and dressings for lunch and dinner. Knowledge and/or experience in the pantry area of the kitchen is a plus. You report directly to the head cook.
Personality needs to be flexible, easy to get along with, friendly, show initiative, good time management skills and willingness to pitch in when help is needed. The summer staff helps each other out so a can-do attitude is critical.
A private room is provided as well as meals six days a week. Sundays off. A bonus is awarded at the conclusion of the season.
