Couple or Individual needed to work at private ranch near Bastrop, Texas. The ranch is not open to the general public. Work schedule will include working most weekends throughout the year and some holidays. Responsibilities include general house and grounds operations. Individual duties include purchasing food and operating supplies, menu and meal preparation as well as table service, clean up after meals, general house cleaning and doing “what it takes” to ensure the ranch house is always ready for family members and guests and that it runs smoothly. This position also requires supervision of house/kitchen, grounds and maintenance employees.
Full time position(s) offers salary plus separate housing on grounds, medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid vacation time. We will consider relocation within U.S. to this area. Candidates should have high school or equivalent education, current driver’s license plus a good driving record, references along with cooking and serving skills. Background check and drug testing are required. In addition to a strong work ethic, good organization skills and flexibility are needed.
