FULL TIME, ON STAFF, Horse Trainer – Roping Experience Req.

We are looking for a full time horse trainer who has experience in starting colts. We specialize in rope horses; the training, breeding and selling high quality Quarte Horses. Ideal candidate will have an upbeat personality, possess excellent riding and horsemanship skills with experience in starting colts.

Requirements:

Extensive horse knowledge and experience; excellent work ethic; exceptional production (high quality work); psychologically robust (ability to handle stress and abstain from drama).

Must be comfortable working with stallions, mares, and young horses of all ages. Previous experience starting and training colts is required.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 – $23.00 per hour ($40,000-$50,000 /yr)

Schedule:
10 hour shift
Weekend availability
