Gabriel Ranch is a registered angus cattle operation in East Texas, focusing on genetic advancement and land improvement. We are adding to our team with a herdsman position in our cow/calf division. This position will report to and work directly with the ranch manager position.

Duties include:

• Feeding and maintaining herd health & doctoring
• Maintaining fences and facilities
• AI breeding and synchronization for ET breeding
• Recording and reporting of breeding, calving & inventory movement records to office
• Keeping facilities and equipment clean and maintained
• Hay production, pasture maintenance and spraying

This position is not entry level, we are looking for candidates with experience. Horseback experience is beneficial but accounts for a minimal portion of the position.

This is a full time position that does require early mornings, late evenings as well as weekends.

Compensation is dependent on experience.
