Family owned 1,800 acre ranch is seeking a highly motivated, hardworking couple that meets the following requirements:

Start Date: as soon as possible

Last Date to Apply: 2/15/2024

– Manage all aspects of our herd of 100 Texas Longhorns. Manage feedings and breedings. Administer vaccines, fly control, and dewormer. Improve pasture via brush control, seeding, and invasive plant control. Penning, loading, and hauling cattle. Maintain fencing and water sources. Maintain detailed cattle records using Cattlemax.

– Manage all aspects of our direct to consumer Longhorn beef program. Duties include marketing, sales, shipping, storage, and hauling cattle to the processor.

– Able to operate and maintain a skid steer, tractors, UTVs, ATVs, and chainsaws. Welding experience is a plus.

– Housekeeping, gardening, and landscape maintenance for a main house and two guest houses.

– Must be trustworthy, able to work independently, and dependable as well as physically capable of doing ranch work (i.e. able to lift 70 lbs) . Must have good communications skills and a great attitude.

– Applicants must provide references, pass a full background check, be US citizens, have a clean driving records, be non-smoking and drug-free.
