Responsibilities include:
- Grazing and Forage Management: Participate in the creation and implementation of the Ranch’s grazing plans on multiple properties; utilize electric fencing to optimize animal and land performance; feed livestock as needed to achieve production goals; repair infrastructure as needed
- Irrigation: Plan the application of irrigation on multiple properties, in conjunction with grazing management; implement the irrigation plan daily, maximizing the efficiency of irrigation water
- Livestock Management: Maintain strong herd health by identifying sickness issues and treating animals; implementing the Ranch’s herd health program (e.g., mineral, supplementation, vaccinations); participate in livestock working events (e.g., branding, weaning, pregnancy checking, sorting, etc.)
