Job Summary:

Seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead our dedicated team and oversee all aspects of the resort’s operations. This small luxury guest ranch is open both summer and winter for diverse outdoor excursions. You will be responsible for driving guest satisfaction, maximizing revenue, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the lodge. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented leader to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of an iconic destination.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the entire resort operation.
  • Oversee all departments, including lodging, dining, guest services, activities, maintenance and spa.
  • Develop and implement annual budgets and ensure profitability.
  • Recruit, develop, and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Foster a positive and guest-centric work environment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners.
  • Waste water and drinking water sampling and reporting.
  • Implement effective marketing and sales strategies to attract and retain guests.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory standards.
  • Reporting to the National Forest Service on day usage.
  • Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the lodge facilities.
  • Represent Lodge in the community.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in hospitality management, preferably at a luxury resort.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue and profitability.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of resort operations and guest service excellence.
  • Budget development and financial management expertise.
  • Experience working with a diverse team in a seasonal environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Wyoming and its tourism industry.
  • Experience implementing guest experience management programs.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability practices in hospitality.
