Silver Sage Ranch
Full time ranch hand position available as soon as May 1, 2019.
We have a cow/calf/feeder/hay operation in central Montana.
The person in this position will work with calving our 250 heifers each spring, grazing management, haying, working and sorting cattle with a team, feeding cattle in the winter and fencing upkeep.
We’re looking for someone with experience working on a ranch with cattle and livestock. We use ATV’s to work cattle and no horse riding is required with this position.
Bonus points if you have mechanical abilities or experience with cell/mob grazing practices.
The compensation package includes a salary, small house, paid utilities, one beef per year, ranch pickup and space for up to 2 horses. Salary depends on experience.
