JPV Farms, LLC
Need very experienced beef cow calf herdsmen. Job requires herding, calving which can include pulling, vaccinations, chute work, feeding, nutrition knowledge, tractor use, fence repair as needed, pivot irrigation, treating illness and injury.
You will need to be able to work alone but sometimes with others. There is no on the job training other than familiarizing you with the program.
Colorado is a beautiful place to live. We are situated along the Front Range with seasonal yet mild weather. Local schools are excellent. Cameras are present for calving.
The position does not include housing but is good for RV if needed. Ranch is located in Longmont Colorado with easy commute from Longmont, Berthoud and Loveland.
Facility is heated and cooled. Cattle are more docile than most and herd very well. Work conditions are excellent.
