Sawdust Hill Alpaca Farm
Wanted: Farm hand to work full-time on 10-acre alpaca and llama farm, Poulsbo, WA. We have re-opened the farm (after being closed due to COVID) to the public to small related groups for mini-tours and to visit our farm store. We are open 7 days a week from 11 AM – 4 PM. We Need someone to work Tuesdays through Saturdays.
NO TOBACCO USERS OR VAPERS.
Pays $16-$20/hour, based on your experience and knowledge of running mowers, weed eaters, etc. simple carpentry, etc. Duties including cleaning and mowing pastures, cleaning barns, assisting in feeding llamas, alpacas, chickens, cats and dogs, assisting in trimming toenails, helping at shearing, helping in training and handling of animals, assisting retail customers in our farm store, 10% commission for farm store sales made by you and 25% off anything you purchase in our farm store.
Must be physically able to perform duties. Also includes carpentry and landscaping work on the houses we buy, fix up, and sell (“flip” houses).
Must have own transportation and cell phone.
Need not have specific experience with farm animals. Will train you. References required.
