Private horse breeding/training facility located in Rocky Point, NC looking for good, reliable help. Jobs available include general farm hand and groom.
Farm hand duties include:
- Stall cleaning
- Feeding
- Turn in/Out
- Mowing/Fixing fence/Other maintenance duties
- Other farm and horse related tasks
Groom duties may include but aren’t limited to:
- Feeding
- Turn in/Out
- Tacking/Untacking
- Lunging
- Holding for vet/farrier
- General horse maintenance such as wrapping, bathing, clipping, etc
- Occasional stall cleaning
- Other farm and horse related tasks
Ideal candidate is honest, hard working and dependable. Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and possible drug screening. Some experience with horses preferred, however we are willing to train the right candidates.
