We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Ranch Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling livestock, performing ranch maintenance, and operating equipment. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a passion for ranch life.

Key Responsibilities:

Animal Care & Handling:

  • Feed, water, and monitor livestock, ensuring their health and well-being.
  • Assist with calving, branding, vaccinations, and medical treatments.
  • Handle and move animals safely, including cattle, horses, and other livestock.
  • Maintain clean and safe animal enclosures, barns, and pens.

Ranch Maintenance & Operations:

  • Perform daily maintenance and repair work on fences, barns, gates, and ranch structures.
  • Operate and maintain ranch equipment, including tractors, ATVs, trailers, and irrigation systems.
  • Assist with land management tasks such as mowing, clearing brush, and maintaining pastures.
  • Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs as needed.

General Duties:

  • Follow all safety procedures and ranch protocols.
  • Work in all weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with the ranch manager and team members.
  • Assist with seasonal projects such as haying, harvesting, and property improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior experience working on a ranch or farm preferred.
  • Knowledge of livestock care, feeding routines, and handling techniques.
  • Ability to operate and maintain ranch equipment and tools.
  • Strong mechanical and maintenance skills.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects, working long hours, and performing manual labor.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $60,000 per annum.
  • Onsite housing is provided.
