Family cow/calf operation in Hinsdale, Montana seeking an honest and dependable full-time employee.
Must have at least a few years experience with cattle. Four wheelers are mainly used but horses could be utilized as well. You won’t be working directly with cattle every day.
Duties to include but not limited to: fence building and repair, putting out salt and mineral, checking cattle, doctoring, water line projects and maintenance, irrigating, trailing cattle, calving heifers, working cattle, truck driving, equipment and building maintenance, haying, feeding, etc.
There could be a chance to run a few cows of your own after a trial period.
Some grain farming but 80%+ of the duties will be cattle or haying related. Mechanical and welding skills will be favored.
Housing and utilities provided. Competitive wage DOE and benefits package can be negotiated. Flexible time off.
