East Texas Ranch is looking for the correct candidate to fit into our family operation. We produce performance Brangus cattle, high quality square and round hay, and dirt work. This is a fun, Christian environment, that’s challenging and goal oriented using the latest technology in equipment and processes. This is a multi-generation ranch offering a long-term job with great pay and housing. We do not work Sundays. This position has a main focus on cattle, and is involved in all aspects of the ranch.
Cattle Operation – Main Focus
- Registered Brangus and UltraBlack Breeder
- A.I. and E.T. Processes
- All aspects from feeding, calving, growing replacement females, annual Bull Sales, and Recip management
- Data and record keeping using software
Hay Operation
- We operate Center Pivot Irrigated and Dry land
- Windrower, Rakes, Tedder, Small Square and Round Balers, Bale Baron, Loaders, Trucks and Trailers
- We are not custom balers, we lease and produce on family land
- All aspects involved from Spraying to taking Soil Samples to Baling
- Our goal is to produce premium hay efficiently using the latest in technology
Dirt Services Operation
- Dozers, Trackhoe, Dirt Scrapers
- We perform outside jobs along with the Ranch needs for Ponds, Driveways, Commercial and Residential
- All aspects of repairing, operating, and servicing equipment
This is a high octane, never nothing to do workplace that requires honesty, accountability, common-sense, and ability to change directions. We focus on hay during the season, Fall calving outside hay season along with dirt work. We embrace new technology and processes and have fun along the way. We are a goal oriented, strategic, and reward based program looking for an energetic, driven, non-smoker to come join our team.
