Established cow/calf operation in beautiful Northwest Nevada, near Adel, Oregon. Experienced cowboy/ranch hand required to herd, process, doctor, calve, sort and manage a 1,200 head cow herd, primarily via horseback.

Range includes both private and public lands. Additional work consists of some fencing and equipment handling. Should have your own saddle horses. A minimum of 3 years of comparable work experience required.

Must enjoy outdoor work and long hours during certain times of the year. No drugs or heavy drinkers please. Will perform duties as directed by Ranch Manager, but expected to be a self-starter, thinking ahead and anticipating what needs to be done in the best interest of the cattle herd and ranch.

Individual, couple or family welcome! Only 50 miles to Lakeview, Oregon a full service community. Position comes with a nice 3 bedroom home, tree shaded with creek. Including utilities, generous bonus program of up to $6,000/yr, horse care, half -beef and salary $3,300/mo or DOE.
