Sundance Trail Guest Ranch
We need a cook for remainder of the summer and into the fall, final date negotiable. Cooking staff prepares 3 meals a day, plus snacks for 30-40 people (includes staff). Meals are served family style, and we encourage all staff to eat with the guests. This position also maintains a clean kitchen and manages inventory. Kitchen staff includes assistant cook, dishwashers and serving assistance from all staff. We work as a team here at Sundance Trail. Our ranch is in northern Colorado with maximum of 24 guests each week. We are up in the mountains at 8,000 feet, we border Roosevelt National Forest, 37 miles northwest of Fort Collins.
We serve hearty meat and potato type meals, with lots of salads and vegetables for those choosing to eat leaner. Ability to bake breads/rolls, cookies/desserts, and good organization is a plus.
During breaks you may go for a horseback ride, play disc golf, hike, enjoy any of the ranch amenities, at no charge. Significant discounts available for gift shop and family members if they visit. Free room/board with private bedroom, free wifi with access to shared computer, and use of laundry facility.
