The Home Ranch
The Home Ranch was a guest Dude Ranch, for 40 years. Recently purchased by a private family and undergoing modernizing renovations. The Home Ranch will not be hosting guests until 2024.
Come and experience ranch life at a working ranch, without the guests, and just the authentic western experience.
We are currently accepting applications for Horticulture Assistants, landscapers, and ranch hands with additional skills.
The specific skills we are interested in are:
+ Ag Fence repair
+ Heavy equipment operation
+ Welding
+ Carpentry
+ Horticulture assistant
+ Landscaping
+ Equine care
+ Irrigation/sprinkler repair/install
+ Flood Irrigation
This position will begin as Full time, approx. May 1 for the summer season with the possibility of year-round work. Guaranteed 40+ hour work until snow fall. Seasonal work is approximately May – November.
Compensation $15-$25, we have on-site housing available if needed and can be negotiated with pay, all housing is shared with coworkers your age and gender. Housing has WIFI and Cell.
Steamboat Springs is home to some of the best recreation and resort town living all year long. There is world-class mountain biking, river floating, fly fishing, weekly professional rodeos, hiking, hot springs, horseback riding, waterfalls, golf, music festivals, skiing, snowmobiling… That’s just to name a few things! Recreation is limitless in Northern Routt County. Summer is almost always pleasant beautiful weather. The views all around Steamboat and the ranch are breathtaking.
Our ranch is situated on 2,000 acres of land bordering the national forest and 3 miles of private river. Fly fishing and horseback riding throughout the property and forest is a perk of working for us!
Steamboat has all the stores, dining, and nightlife a person needs. There is an airport 20 minutes west of Steamboat as well.
