Bear Gulch Ranch
Seeking a non-smoking, drug-free, individual caretaker or a paired couple to provide caretaker services on a full-time annual basis for a large, multi-structure executive estate located adjacent to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Candidates must be able to work independently with little to no supervision, be extremely willing to maintain a high level of detailed professional service. Must be able to present well to guests, neighbors, vendors, and local citizens. Must possess a high sense of personal and professional integrity.
Duties include both interior house cleaning and maintenance, but also exterior multi-house maintenance and grounds keeping duties for the ranch estate. Ideal candidate would possess handyman, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, animal husbandry (for approximately fifteen cattle and up to six horses seasonally), fence repair and forestry maintenance skills. Additionally, candidate must be well versed at using and maintaining a Bobcat skid steer, backhoe, dump trailer, chain saws, and other ranch related machinery and equipment. Skills in carpentry, remodeling, and other construction related work are a plus.
The ranch is part of a local Conservation Easement so caretakers must insure that there is no hunting, poaching, four wheeling / off-roading, trespassing or other environmentally harmful activities occurring on the ranch property. For this reason, ideal candidate would not have pets and must be highly respectful of wildlife.
Caretaker housing is provided (on-premises) with electrical and water utilities. CenturyLink internet and basic DirecTV satellite television provided by the owners. Caretakers are responsible for their own telephone bills. Hourly pay or salary negotiable and dependent upon level of skills provided by candidate. ALL candidates must pass a thorough background check.
