Looking for a person to take care of a 165 acre ranch straddling the Wynoochee River near the coast of Washington state.

Live on-property either in own trailer or one of ours while we build additional quarters/housing.

The Wynoochee River Ranch is an educational facility for regenerative practices working with various programs in forest, livestock/grazing and orchard and garden management. We raise a wide range of livestock and a diverse variety of year-round crops while emphasizing the practices of the Native American tradition for stewardship of the land.

Caretaker is responsible for caring for the animals, managing the gardens, orchards, pastures, grounds, facility maintenance along with staff (orchard manager, summer interns, local /professional help, etc). Caretaker may choose to also participate in construction projects, if interested.

This is a learning opportunity for someone who is eager to work hard and learn and wants to pick up skills in construction, regeneration, homesteading, etc. Experience and knowledge of working with large animals s a strong positive.
