Are you an experienced camp cook? and enjoy beautiful mountain scenery, adventure, and living remotely? Then please read on! We have been operating our big game hunting outfit since 1998 and have many return clients and staff. The area is non-motorized and is one of the most peaceful and scenic areas in Colorado.

The position is a cook for our pack-in wall tent camp during the guided hunts. We are located in NW Colorado about an hour and 1/2 from Steamboat Springs. Craig, Colorado is the nearest town. This position is available from early August through mid-November.

Our guided hunts are 7 days, and cooking for 10 people. The accommodations are wall tents. Our cook tent is well equipped. The person must be able to ride a horse as our camps are in non-motorized areas. Backcountry camping and cooking skills are a must. The job entails creating the menus and doing the supply shopping. When not cooking in the pack-in camp, the job entails helping out at our base camp cabins where we provide shared cabin accommodations and meals.

A good work ethic, and strong people skills are a must. We cannot accommodate pets. Non-smoker. We are looking for an honest, ethical person who wants to be part of a great team. Shared housing is provided along with meals. The location is remote but comfortable.
