Rolling Hills Farm / Rolling Hills Estate Winery (RH) is a 1,300 acre privately owned and operated Winery & Ranch in Westport, NY in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains on Lake Champlain.

We are seeking a Full Time Facilities Manager to handle all aspects of general maintenance, building repairs & projects, daily/weekly & seasonal maintenance items for 16 townhomes, winery, farm buildings and other property structures.

As Facilities Manager, your role will be hands-on oversight to maintain all facilities on the property. Responsibilities include all aspects of general management including interior & exterior inspections and repairs, electrical and plumbing repairs, heating/cooling repairs, interior and exterior painting, sourcing bids via RFQs, developing estimates, scheduling and overseeing contractors and vendors, ensuring quality control of all work, and performing seasonal maintenance tasks.

Other Job Responsibilities Include:

  • All pre & post season building maintenance tasks, to include boiler work and water heater adjusting and repair, opening and winterizing of buildings as necessary
  • Ability to perform electrical, plumbing and HVAC system repairs
  • Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs
  • Outdoor wood furnace maintenance and repair
  • Interior and exterior painting and drywall repair
  • Roof repair to include metal, asphalt and slate systems
  • Power washing structures to maintain appearance
  • Handle any moisture issues/water damage in homes
  • Build small structures, repairing fencing and minor masonry work
  • Source multiple bids from vendors, contractors and service providers, including scheduling and work oversight (quality control)
  • Operate equipment such as aerial lift heavy equipment and construction equipment
  • Development of annual budgets and capital improvement plans
  • Work closely with our property team on projects to ensure success
  • Organized self-starter with excellent communication skills, and the ability to self-manage and find solutions independently
  • Other duties as directed

  • Provide 3 professional references that will be contacted prior to employment
  • Minimum prior experience: 6+ years
