Adventure awaits you! Come join the Diamond Ranch team and spend the summer/fall in the beautiful Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. The Diamond Ranch is Idaho’s premier all-inclusive Guest Ranch, located 38 miles north of Stanley, Idaho. The ranch has been family owned and operated since 1960. The Demorest family (now on generation 3) welcome their guests and crew with open arms! We typically have 25-35 guests a week, plus staff.
The Breakfast Cook/Baker is responsible for preparing the breakfast for up to 35+ guests and 15 crew, food presentation, helping to manage the food inventory and ordering, maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment in both the kitchen and dining room. Other responsibilities include the daily baking of a variety of homemade breads, cookies, cakes, pies, bars, pastries, etc. The Breakfast Cook and Baker will assist the lunch/dinner chef in keeping the refrigerators, freezers and walk-ins in order and clean, while paying attention to rotation and helping to control food costs and food waste. At the ranch we have many Diamond recipes that we will ask our cooks to recreate, however, we are open to hearing new ideas and creativity. Assisting in menu planning will be part of this role as well. Communication and team work is key. It is extremely important that this position is filled by a person who not only loves to cook and bake but also enjoys working closely with others and has great communication skills.
On your days off enjoy hiking, horseback riding, fly fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, or just relaxing.
