Fultz Performance Horses
Still in search of the right person to fill this position~
AQHA/ABRA training and breeding facility in Prescott, Ks. (60 miles south of Kansas City) is in IMMEDIATE need of a stall cleaner/general horse care person. This is NOT a riding position, but riding may be available only if the applicant has past AQHA show horse experience. Colt starting experience would be a BIG plus.
BEFORE you respond… Please be willing to WORK. Work the hours we ask you to be here. Not whenever you want to show up. Not only when it’s sunny and 70. Please know that this is physical WORK! It is fast paced and long days, but can be very rewarding knowing you are part of a successful team. There is always something that needs to be done. Job includes, but not limited to… cleaning 24 stalls 2x per day. 7 of those stalls have runs off of them that are also cleaned daily. We have 5 turnout pens that are cleaned as well every evening. Leading horses to and from turnouts including 4 stallions, feeding, watering..both stalls and pasture tanks… are daily duties along with helping to keep barns and facility presentable (raking, cobwebs, sweeping, mowing, weed eating to name a few). Job is 6 days per week. 7 days per week is always available.
We need someone DEDICATED & RELIABLE.
We need someone with transportation. Off-site housing could possibly be provided. You MUST have references and previous horse experience with a solid track record.
We are NOT looking for someone who is just looking for a job until the next one comes along, but rather someone who needs a job that wants to be around for awhile. Job is 40+ hrs per week.
Salary: $500/week
