Kempker Ranch/Kempker Arena has an open position for a full-time Barn Hand. Living quarters (1 bedroom apartment) and benefits available.

Duties include but are not limited to: morning and evening chores which includes turn in/out, feed, water, grooming, blanketing, stall/barn cleaning, administration of equine medication when applicable, and exercising/riding horses. Riding, horse showing, and rodeo opportunities available for the right person. Kempker Ranch has both indoor and outdoor arenas and occasionally holds events. We are equipped with a 20 stall barn, state-of-the-art exerciser and aqua tread.

Requirements include:

Experience handling and training horses.
Experience with fence repair, operation of tractor and other farm equipment/machinery, and maintaining indoor and outdoor riding arenas.
Task oriented, self motivated, punctual, possesses communication skills, efficient, organized, friendly, and can provide references.
Business oriented and will hold the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with clients.

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and knowledge in this industry. This position INCLUDES a furnished 1 bedroom apartment and benefits!!! Not a requirement to live on-site. No pets. Dependability is a MUST!
