Genoa Livestock is seeking an experienced herdsman to assist with our registered Hereford operation. We are located in Carson Valley, NV, about 1 hour south of Reno and at the base of the Sierra Nevada range.

This position will assist with livestock management, herd health, AI breeding and calving. Also general ranch duties including equipment operation and maintenance.
Qualifications: Seedstock or solid cow/calf experience; AI skill a plus; strong cattleman mindset; customer service oriented; mechanical skills.
This is a full time position, open immediately. We are offering a very competitive compensation package including a nice 3bd/2ba home on the ranch, basic utilities, health insurance, use of a ranch vehicle. Starting salary based on experience with annual raise and performance bonuses.
