Green Haven Cattle Company
Green Haven Cattle Company is looking to hire several All-Around Ranch Hands. We are a multifaceted cattle operation, including 700 organic mama cows, 200 head/week backgrounder of stocker calves, grass finishing of organically raised calves and feed lot for finished fat cattle.
This is not just a “cowboy” job, we do use horses to move and work cattle, but we also need hands that are able and or willing to learn to do anything that comes along.
You will be doing cattle processing, doctoring, branding, penning, calving, sorting and hauling. You will be doing fencing, plumbing, tractor work, mechanical work and cleaning of machinery and facilities.
We work in all types of weather rain, heat and cold. We pay a full day’s wage and expect a FULL day’s work.
Knowledge of electricity or welding is a big plus, but not necessary. Must have a valid diver’s, dependable transportation, and a background check will be done before employment.
Beef Quality Assurance Certification required (can be obtained after employed).
