Triangle X Ranch is ideally located in Jackson Hole’s beautiful Grand Teton National Park. The Triangle X has been owned and operated by the Turner family since it was established 94 years ago. We provide all-inclusive ranch vacations to families and people from across the world. We pride ourselves on old western hospitality and are looking for a new team member to help us continue providing unparalleled service to our guests.
As the mechanic of Triangle X you will join a team of 12 year –round employees and 60 seasonal staff members. You become part of a family and will live and work in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Job Description:
This is a year-round position and we are looking for a multiple year commitment. The Triangle X mechanic is responsible for maintaining a fleet of 30 plus vehicles, farm equipment, various trailers, snowmobiles and other small engine equipment. Along with maintenance our mechanic is tasked with equipment operation, general ranch labor, daily monitoring of our underground fuel storage tanks, complying with OSHA regulations, maintain maintenance records, helping put up our hay crop and various other day-to-day tasks needed around the ranch. Mus be well organized, maintain a clean and tidy shop and have experience with computers.
Qualifications:
- Individual must be customer service oriented and a self starter.
- Must work well with others and people of all ages.
- Must be responsible, hard-working, honest, and authentic.
- Must pass a 10-year criminal background check.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and random testing thereafter.
- Clean driving record.
- Experience in agriculture, specifically irrigation systems and haying is a plus.
- Able to use a computer.
- Previous experience operating tractors and farm equipment.
Wages:
Annual salary with 2 weeks paid vacation
Room and Board:
Housing is provided – non-smoking, one bedroom w/ bath and kitchen. We will consider a couple but cannot provide housing to a family. 3 meals a day are also provided in our ranch staff dining room, 8 months out of the year.
