Help wanted: Cooking/Cleaning help at [private] Ranch in spectacular Montana. To start in late May running through mid September.

We are a private family ranch, located in the Rocky Mountains 12 miles west of country community of Augusta, Montana. We don’t have paying guests and are only open for family and friends thru the spring/summer/fall months.

Come join the [private] team and spend the summer/fall at the base of the stunning 1.5M acres of “The Louis and Clark National Wilderness”.

Kitchen duties: You will be responsible for preparing the meals for guests, food presentation, helping to manage the food inventory and ordering, maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment in both the kitchen and dining room. Other responsibilities include keeping the refrigerators, freezers and walk-ins in order and clean, while paying attention to helping to control food costs and food waste. At the ranch we have many Diamond recipes that we will ask our chef to re-create; we are open to new ideas and creativity. Assisting in menu planning and inventory will be part of this role as well.

Cleaning duties: Daily cleaning of main lodge and kitchen. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the cleaning of cabins before guests arrive and after they leave. We have a ranch manager and some local help as well.

It is very important to us that this position is filled by a person who enjoys working closely with others and has strong communication skills. Attention to detail is a must. Baking skills are an added bonus.

On your days off enjoy hiking, fly fishing, river pools or just relaxing.
