Larsen Veterinary & Embryo Transfer
Larsen Veterinary & Embryo Transfer is seeking a full-time ET Center Herdsman. The embryo transfer sector of our family-owned company focuses on donor herd processing and care. We are a diversified, fast-paced and hard-working team.
Duties include daily feeding, donor processing and health, heat detection/breeding, maintenance of grounds & equipment, and other duties as assigned. Cattle handling experience is required, with AI experience preferred.
Position will be long-term for someone who is personable, dependable and willing to grow with the company. Must be able to adapt while working alone and with others. Herdsman are very important to our team and can earn a high degree of responsibility with cattle, equipment and clientele. Excellent wages based on skills & experience. We currently have a small farm house available or can assist in finding housing that meets your needs.
We are located just minutes from Valentine, NE, a scenic town of approximately 3,000 people with excellent health care, schools, restaurants, shopping and many recreational opportunities (hunting, fishing, golf, rodeo and water sports.
