Hello everyone. I’m Kyle, I’m 26 years old and I’m from Louisiana.

I’m looking for a ranch job, whether that’s a dude ranch or a working ranch or cattle work. I’d be very grateful for the opportunity.

I have been a vet tech for the past 7 years, and now it’s time for a change of career and a change of scenery. Please feel free to contact me on messenger and get to know me better. I will tell you some about myself and my work ethic.

I’ve never worked on an official ranch before, but working hard and working with animals is nothing new for me. I was raised to show up early and leave late, and to give it all you got and to take pride in what you do. That’s what I’ll do, I know when to keep my mouth shut and do my job the way I was told to until it’s done. I can tolerate the heat, tolerate the cold, tolerate the rain, and I get along with pretty much everybody.

I believe I have a work ethic that you can put up next to anyone and see me outwork them. I have helped my grandfather with his cattle in my youth, I was in 4-H all through school, I’m from a rural agricultural town in LA, and recently I have been working at a riding school. It’s there that I’ve learned to groom horses, water and feed, muck out stalls, work on hooves, learn to ride and work a horse in a round pen, lead a trail group, and just general barn knowledge to have. Just within a couple weeks, I’ve probably clocked in around 30 hours in the saddle, learning more every day too.

No ranch job is beneath me, I even find joy in the dirty tasks no one else wants to do.

No criminal history, I don’t use drugs of any kind nor have I ever. You can 100% trust me with money to make supply runs into town for you to save you some time. I’m not married and I don’t have children, so you wouldn’t have to worry about family accommodations or issues with me.

I can be ready to work by this spring, and I’m excited to hear from you. I’ll learn how to do things your way, I’ll keep everyone in my area safe, and I’ll make sure the animals are happy and safe as well. I also know how to shoot a rifle/setup traps to keep your herd safe from predators. I’ve got people skills from working and interacting so much over the past 7 years, I’m eager to learn and I learn quick, and most of all I have a passion to one day hopefully run my own ranch.

Not to boast, I just want to let you know what kind of hand you would be getting with me. I can email you a resume if you request. As far as housing goes, I would prefer to have a bunkhouse or place to stay on site as it would be a big help financially and will help me be close to work if needed at any time day or night, in case of a nightly emergency or birthing occurs. I look forward to talking with you. A cowboy is honest, tough, and finds a way to get it done instead of complaining, and that’s what I’ll do for you… Thank you!
