Rancho de la Osa (True Ranch Collection)
True Ranch Services is looking for a ranch caretaker to maintain the property and ensure it is secure during the summer months. Responsibilities include daily checks of the ranch grounds and an expected 10-15 hours of maintenance work per week. The ranch will be closed to guests from the end of April through mid-October 2025 and will not have any horses or cattle. The right candidate will be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and have their own transportation. Rancho de la Osa is located 1.5 hours from Tucson, Arizona in a remote area along the U.S.-Mexico border, surrounded by the Buenos Aires Wildlife Refuge.
Rate of Pay: $2,000 per month, plus housing. Reliable transportation required. Housing will include a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals.
Responsibilities (estimated 10-15 hours per week):
- Maintain and manage ranch condition including cleaning, landscaping, maintenance and repairs, and general upkeep of the property.
- Upkeep of landscaping and grounds, plus pool maintenance
- Keep property secure, with daily checks of ranch grounds
- Notify ownership of any incidents, concerns or maintenance requirements promptly
General maintenance skills a plus:
- minor electrical
- plumbing
- painting
