Seeking a full-time, long term ranch foreman at a family run ranch in Divide Colorado. We raise angus cross beef cattle, as well as yak; 250 – 300 head throughout the year. We’re looking for someone with good communication skills, who can work in a team environment, but is also comfortable working independently when necessary, and is able to provide daily reports on tasks completed and in progress.

Duties include: animal management (feeding, calving, branding, assisting with doctoring and administering meds), general ranch work (fencing, road maintenance, water system maintenance, mowing, forestry, maintaining hunting blinds and trail cams, etc), ranch equipment operation (ATVs, skid loader, farm tractor, mini excavator, front end loader, snow cat, bull dozer, etc), guest services for family and friends of property owner (maintain guest houses and equipment, 2-4 chuck wagons / events per year – set up, cooking, clean up), other related duties as assigned.

ATVS are used exclusively. No work on horseback.

Housing available after a 6 month probationary period.

Prior ranching and cow/calf experience is preferred. OJT will be provided for ranch equipment and practices.
