Equine Technician Wanted – Western Pleasure Horseback Riding
We are seeking an experienced Equine Tech / Ranch Assistant Manager to join our small, well-maintained ranch specializing in western pleasure horseback riding. Our operation features a small herd of well-trained Quarter Horses, and we are looking for a dedicated professional with a passion for horse care, training, and ranch management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily management of ranch operations
- Train and exercise horses for western pleasure riding
- Oversee horse care, feeding, and overall herd health
- Support and lead horseback riding activities
- Coordinate with veterinarians and farriers
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong horse training skills, particularly in western pleasure riding
- Ability to handle general ranch maintenance and daily operations
- Vet tech experience is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
