Farm hand position available mid May thru early October.

Must be comfortable driving tractor’s on hills, livestock trailers, installing new barbed wire fencing, chainsaws, landscape maintenance and installation, experience with cows, pigs and chickens. Must love dogs. A valid drivers license and ability to pass a background check is required. This is not a job for someone who has never lived away from home or relies on fast food to survive. We are 30 minutes from town.

Your days will consist of anything and everything that goes into running a farm. We follow regenerative practices this involves moving the cows several days a week via electric fencing, milking, fly control, pruning blueberry bushes, picking weeds, chainsaw work, building out new pastures with fencing, collecting eggs, moving the meat chickens daily, landscape management/ bush hogging, moving the pigs, daily animal feeding. You must be healthy and strong. You will walk a ton of hills, move hay, animal feed and fencing.

Shared farmhand housing with communal spaces. Access to fresh milk, eggs, meat and seasonal veggies and fruit.

Must be committed to the whole season. No horses.
