Hello there,
My name is Brandon. I am 31 years old and have a wife and a new born son. My wife and I have a dream of living on a ranch/farm and would love the opportunity to learn your operation and serve you the best we can.
Experience for myself: Grew up hunting and fishing and love the outdoors, would love to work on a ranch or farm that has an aspect of hunting, but not necessarily needed. Have worked picking sweet corn and veggies by hand and selling at local markets. Done lawn care with a plethora of different mowers, all the way up to a 4×4 diesel John Deere mower with a 60″ deck mowing 17 hours a week for one property.
Have helped put in food plots every year for years for habitat improvement for wildlife. Was an infantryman in the USMC for 4 years, was the 3rd best shooter in boot camp, and was designated marksman with 50 cal SASR in my unit. Have my bachelors of science in forest management, have published research in professional journals, and am a good writer, so I could help you with grant writing. I have worked as a forester cruising, painting, selling, and administering multiple timber sales for public and private entities totaling over $530,000 in my best 6 month timeframe. I have also worked as arborist (with a CDL A) running crews of up to 5 people doing complex removals, wildland firefighter out west, and as an associate pastor counseling people in some of their most stressful times in life.
I can operate a ton of equipment, including tractors, bucket trucks, front end loaders, skid steers, heavy truck, chippers, chainsaws, bull dozer, a dragline once, and many other pieces. And I haven’t operated it before I can learn quick and perform for you. I’m mechanically inclined and can work on many different pieces of equipment if broken, I don’t mind long hours. The only thing I want (besides a position working and living on your ranch/farm) is to go to church every Sunday and a bible study during the week (unless it’s an emergency on the ranch/farm). Past that, give me as many hours as you can throw at me at whatever hours you need.
My wife has spent two years studying fitness and was a fitness trainer, and she has had her own business in coaching and has grossed up to 10,000 a month on her best month. This translates to she is a marketing genius and very good with social media, which I believe a lot of ranches could use to expand their businesses. She also is down to earth, is very humble, (in my opinion gorgeous), and would be an excellent addition to your staff for cooking or cleaning or household duties when not taking care of our new son. She aspires to be like Caroline Ingalls in little house on the prairie, and already dresses the part.
We are both out of the country currently because my wife is immigrating from Germany to the US in mid march, so we won’t have US numbers till then (unless you want to download whatsapp).
