Joshua Creek Ranch
Looking for a Guest Services Coordinator with a unique combination of sales, customer service, retail, administrative, and hospitality skills and experience to join the team at Premier Hunting Lodge & Texas Hill Country Resort, Joshua Creek Ranch. This hunting and sporting paradise is located in Boerne, just 45 minutes northwest of downtown San Antonio and only 15 minutes from downtown Boerne. The Guest Services Coordinator is a front-office based position and part of a team that is considered the operational “hub” for all Ranch events and guest reservations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of customer reservations and inquiries through multiple channels including phone and email
- Enter and manage customer reservation details in custom software program with daily calendar updates
- Understand Ranch offering and pricing so that customer estimates and proposals can be provided in a timely manner
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering calls, greeting customers and ensuring each guest has a 5-star experience
- Check in Guests, review itineraries, and assist with retail sales and rental programs, operating the retail point-of-sale system
- Act as a liaison between different departments (outdoor, food service, housekeeping, marketing, etc.) to bring details together for reservations
- Ensure appropriate hospitality-related preparations are in place before guests’ arrival
- Maintain a working knowledge of seasonal activities, promotions and facilities in crafting customized itineraries
Requirements:
- MUST BE ABLE AND WILLING TO WORK WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS!!!
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to commute to semi-rural location.
- Some work history in similar guest services, hospitality, and/or administrative position
- Strong computer skills with custom software programs and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Highly detail-oriented and organized with strong follow-through work habits
- Strong time-management skills, including strict adherence to deadlines
- Must have ability to work productively with a team of diverse experiences and professions
- Self-motivated, self-starting team player who doesn’t need to be micro-managed
- Able to work well under pressure and keep a calm demeanor
- Professional and respectful of authority, co-workers and especially Guests
- Positive attitude, flexible and willingness to “do whatever it takes” to ensure a positive Guest experience
- Takes pride in the success of the company
- Interest and knowledge in outdoors, hunting, and sporting activities helpful, but not required
Compensation:
- Base Hourly Rate (DOE) + Monthly Service Fees = Around $30/Hour
