Hello, my name is Christine I am seeking a ranch hand position preferably on a farm, ranch, or property that is close to or located in the mountains and has livestock.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

At 43 years old, I bring a wealth of experience and a solid work ethic developed over years of working in different tradesmen industries. I was raised on a homestead where I gained a wide variety of experience with maintenance, micro farming, animal care, bailing hay, gardening etc. Growing up in the country also gave me experience with an array of hand tools, power tools, fencing, weed control, and general farm upkeep.

I attended college at Central Michigan University where I studied for five years while working a part-time job. I studied business and teaching. Unable to settle on major I elected to marry and raise my children. During this time I started and ran a photography business. I realized fairly quickly that I had a natural talent for graphic design and so I sought out a carrier in graphic design. Over the next five years I worked as a graphic designer for two different outdoor advertising companies.

Realizing that I was not meant for desk job I began a job assisting in the startup of a goat farm creamery. My array of duties included graphic design, website design, social media management, selling and maintaining a booth at local farmers markets. I also assisted in the cheese production where I had to lift large milk churns weighing over 100 lbs. Unfortunately, I received an offer from a local disaster restoration company, that I could not refuse.

I was hired as a project manager for Servicemaster where I worked for two years before leaving to start my own business.

I gained experience in building construction, carpentry, and water/mold/fire mitigation. I was on call 24/7 and was responsible for planning, executing, and successfully completing projects with a team of 20+ employees.

After two years at Servicemaster I left to pursue a desire to own and operate my own business. In 2019 started an auto detailing shop. I started out of my garage and now it is the top google rated detail shop in the Lansing area. This has been one of my greatest accomplishments in life. I was able to utilize the knowledge and experiences I had gained over the years. I thrived in this type of fast paced and physically demanding environment. Being a business owner has given me a unique skill-set that not many will never acquire.

HOBBIES AND PERSONAL LIFE

My main passion is the backpacking/camping/overlanding. I took my first backpacking trip at a very young age and my passion has only grown since that trip. Winter camping/backpacking is one of my favorite activities. I do not have many other hobbies as I am a bit of a workaholic.

I am very used to long hours and working early mornings, late evening, weekends and holidays.
