Franktown Meadows Equestrian Facility
Full-time / live-in employee is needed for a large equestrian facility located south of Reno, NV. This position requires an extensive knowledge of the health and well-being of horses, as well as an ability to handle horses in a responsible and safe manner. Primary Responsibilities
* Maintaining 30 + horses health and well-being
* Complete morning feeding and night check
* Administering feed supplements and medications
* Blanketing/un-blanketing according to weather
* Completing daily turnouts of horses
* Sharing responsibility to maintain 24-hour supervision of property and horses
* Maintaining positive client relations
Secondary Responsibilities
* Office administration, including: answering phone, taking messages, keeping
daily service log
* Cleaning lounge, office, and bathroom areas
Skills Required
* Able to complete work without direct supervision
* Efficient in time-management
* Communicate effectively with management and other employees
* Reliable form of transportation
* Physical fitness. Must be able to walk approximately 10 miles daily and lift
30 lbs by oneself.
Details
* 4-5 days a week
* Onsite housing provided
* Wage determined by experience
