Couples team seeking a job as managers or caretakers for a working ranch, lodge, private, corporate or vacation property. Looking to oversee the care of the property, animals, horsemanship program, owners, high end guest services, manage vendors/contractors, operations, equipment, assets and resources.

Mike:

Mike is a ranch manager (20+ years) and guest ranch manager (16 years) who has been in the ranching and horse business his entire life. He has developed systems for grazing management, cattle handling, crop rotation, horsemanship, guest services, employee training and implementing owner goals. He has worked with ownership to develop processes, financial and operational budgets, project scopes, vendor lists and purchasing of equipment. Mike is called our “MacGyver” as he can fix almost anything, and problem solve with the best. He is the man that will doctor cattle in the morning, fix a leaking faucet, install a new dishwasher, change oil in the pickup, weld a broken piece of equipment, teach a young man to bale hay and then be cleaned up for a board meeting or ranch dinner that night. He enjoys the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, spending time with family, sharing his knowledge with young people and officiating football and basketball.

Jennifer:

Jennifer is a former restaurant manager (10 years) as well as household manager (3 years) who has managed, cooked, catered, and overseen luxury homes as well as corporate and private restaurants. Working with employees to achieve a common goal, problem solving, organizing and attention to detail are some of her highest qualities. She has worked with clients in both the home setting as well as the hospitality industry, providing excellent customer service, tact, and privacy. Jennifer’s household management skills, love for the culinary arts and administration abilities make her a well-rounded team member. She enjoys the outdoors, hiking, camping, as well as gardening and maintaining her home.

We are a faith based, honest, loyal and driven couple who’ve been together for 6 years. We love to hunt, travel, snow mobile, the outdoors, the cowboy way of life, raise beef, and ride our horses. We have been very blessed and look forward to the next chapter of our life. Together Mike and Jennifer have experience that few couples can offer. These experiences allow us to see opportunities and challenges through a different lens of appreciation, dedication, and wisdom.
