Position: Full-Time Ranch Hand
Shadow Hills Riding Club is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Ranch Hand to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the health and welfare of our horses and the overall upkeep of our ranch.
Responsibilities:
- Regular cleaning of horse stables and stalls.
- General maintenance of ranch grounds.
- Providing general equine care.
- Working collaboratively as part of our team to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Capable of driving RTV, Tractor for daily arena maintenance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience and knowledge in handling horses required.
- Familiarity with different types of hay and equine feeding practices, including awareness of signs of colic.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including the use of a wheelbarrow that may weigh up to 200 lbs.
- Availability to work weekends.
- Proficiency in English.
- Must pass a drug screening and background check.
- ID verification is required.
