Looking for full time, permanent employment. Prefer to stay in the Wyoming, Montana area, but will consider others if it’s a good fit.
Experienced ranch hand; I’ve branded, sorted, doctored, shipped, AI, calving, winter feeding, rotational grazing, monitored herd health, hauling etc. Extensive experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment, I LIKE fencing work, I enjoy haying. I have experience with irrigation, wells, pipelines, and below ground water systems. If you’re looking for experience and a jack of all trades, I’m your guy.
I am NOT looking for a horseback only outfit or a cowboying outfit, I can ride I just prefer ATV or on foot. My wife is able to and happy to help is that is needed. I have years of management experience and also wildland firefighting. I can mechanic but I am not looking for a mechanic position. My wife has just as much experience with cattle, plus more horse experience and is willing to work too. We also homeschool so living more remote is not an issue.
I am looking for full time, long term employment with housing for a larger family (3 bdrm min). Good work environment, good family environment. Must allow well behaved indoor/outdoor pets and one gelding (ranch horse but doesn’t need to be used for ranching). Prefer somewhere that uses working dogs, but its not a deal breaker.
I am NOT looking for a farming operation. I do not drink, do drugs or smoke. We keep things clean, tidy and in working order as I expect employers to do the same. I have a clean background, current and clean drivers license. I have my own vehicles and ready to find a good place for our family. We are not in a hurry to find an outfit immediately, our priority is finding the best fit. I can send resumes and personal/work references when requested.
