We are seeking a dedicated couple to join our team on a large ranch in South Texas. The ideal couple will have experience in caretaking/administrative duties and ranch work while maintaining a friendly professional relationship with the ranch owner.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Caretaker/administrative assistant:
- Take care of all work-related errands
- Occasional cooking of meals for the principal and his guests
- Housekeeping duties
- Landscape and yard duties
- Make sure principals’ vehicles and your work vehicle is kept and serviced as needed
- Scheduling of doctor’s appointments or any other appointments necessary
- Drive the principal to doctor’s appointments when needed
- Handle all prescriptions for refill and organize in monthly medication planner
- Grocery shopping and picking up mail
Ranch Hand:
- Feeding and watering of livestock
- Maintaining and repairing fences and other ranch equipment
- Assisting with calving and other livestock health tasks
- Operating and maintaining ranch machinery and vehicles
- Irrigation and maintenance of pastures
- Managing daily operations of the ranch
- General maintenance and cleaning of ranch facilities
Requirements:
- Must have your own vehicle for personal use
- Pass an initial drug test as well as random drug tests
- Pass a background check
