Nanci T.
Dear Audience,
Ideally, I would like to work in a remote location, preferably in the West, but I am open to other locations. I would be available to start work at the end of August or at the beginning of September. Perhaps I can find a short-term project that lasts for three to six months so that we can determine if we can collaborate on a long-term basis. It would be interesting to work in a situation that would provide me with multiple challenges. I am accustomed to living on the bare minimum and I thrive in outback survival situations.
My childhood was spent in the mountains of southern Oregon without indoor plumbing, a telephone, and electricity, and the nearest town was 25 miles away. It was necessary for me to hook our Percheron up to the snow plow in order to make it home in the winter. During the summer, I spent days riding alone, exploring the forest and watching the local rancher’s free-range cattle. It was not uncommon for me to come across elk, black bear, mountain lions or even a free range bull that has become a little too wild at times. This kind of living never leaves your blood.
I have exceptional skills with animals, permaculture, soil regeneration, biomechanics of the body and am a certified fruit tree care specialist. I have a keen sense of observation and a refined awareness that is very handy in regards to animal care.
I would be more inclined to work for a smaller, family owned or community owned operation.
I work effectively with no supervision, am independent and self motivated.
I am well traveled and well educated; a very unique individual who has had many different job titles. My skills, experience and knowledge are an asset to those I work with.
