Barnard Land & Livestock
Barnard Land & Livestock is seeking self-motivated, hardworking ranch hand to work on a 3,000 acre cow and calf operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to the maintenance and operation of the ranch. Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.
Qualifications:
- Ranch labor experience.
- Experience working around livestock.
- Ability to prioritizing various tasks.
- Fence construction and maintenance.
- Weed management.
- Operating and maintaining farm/ranch equipment.
- Ability to exert heavy physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to kneel, stoop crouch , balance, climb or crawl.
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time and work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold and wet)
Responsibilities:
- Weed control and mitigation.
- Fence installation, repair and maintenance.
- Equipment repair and maintenance.
- Operate power tools for ranch maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization around the ranch.
