Looking for a ranch hand with experience for our 300+ acre ranch in rural Riverside County, Ca.
Must be able to fix things from barb wire fences to irrigation pipes to replacing ceiling fans. Able to lift 50+ pounds, drive backhoe, skip-loader and tractor, do minor truck and equipment maintenance and repair and basic carpentry.
Should be a team player and self started, agile with ability to climb rugged terrain. Have familiarity with cows, horses and wild animals such as coyotes, cougars, bears, foxes and big horn sheep.
Not afraid of rattle snakes and large insects which frequent ranch. Knowledge of agriculture including produce production, chicken keeping/egg production and beekeeping helpful.
Must possess a valid driver’s license with insurance, be able to pass both a background check and drug test.
Possibility to live on site. Salary DOE.
