Looking for a long term, full time, family oriented operation in the South Central MT, WY, ID, CO, UT area but willing to relocate for the ideal job. Mature, responsible and honest family.
Lots of experience on cow/calf operations with extensive cowhorse and rope horse background. Proficient in all aspects of ranch work – feeding, doctoring, roping, calving heifers, preg checks, herd health, shoeing, starting colts and finishing horses. Can run equipment, general equipment and vehicle maintenance.
May be a long shot but looking for a place that raises and trains some nice horses and runs some cows.
Self starter, dependable and not afraid to jump in where help is needed.
Wife can work along side of me (is also proficient in all aspects of ranch work as well) when and if appropriate but can also cook, clean, help with bookkeeping.
The perfect fit for us would include: family friendly, uses horses and (not opposed to some four wheeler work but we have a few good ranch horses), housing for a family of four.
We are looking for a long term position.
