Job Description:
As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating culinary experiences that complement the unique atmosphere of our property. Working independently & with a team, you will follow recipes with precision, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, locally inspired cuisine. You will manage & facilitate kitchen cleanliness while maintaining impeccable standards of food safety and hygiene. In your role, you will oversee the complete dining process prepare food for the lodge kitchen and interact with guests contributing to the overall satisfaction and enjoyment of our guests in this picturesque and immersive setting.
If you do not have previous experience working at a hunting ranch as a chef, you may not be the right fit for this position.
Food & Beverage / Chef
- Chef-cooked meals for high-end clients at their lodges, while a commercial kitchen is being designed
- Able to cook for 2 to 30 people at the kitchen at the lodges
- Ensure the meal presentation is very well set up – plated or buffet style set up.
- Produce high-quality plates both design and taste-wise.
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
- Inventory management
- Planning & Prepping
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintained kitchen cleanliness and organization, ensuring all surfaces, equipment, and utensils were promptly cleaned and sanitized after each meal service.
- Take responsibility for post-service cleanup, including dishwashing, equipment sanitation, and overall kitchen tidiness
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
- Plan for meals as per budget allocated.
- Optimize food and beverage margins.
- Personalizing Guest experience – ensuring details are considered while planning a guest experience.
- Building Guest Relationships on behalf of CCR
- Planning & organizing future guest bookings to ensure efficiency.
- Creative ideas on representing CCR and providing high-class hospitality to the guests.
DOING WHATEVER IT TAKES ATTITUDE AND PROVIDING SERVICE HIGHEST STANDARDS
Requirements:
- You will always maintain a Food Management certification and follow the safety and health standards.
- 3-5 Years experience as a Chef / F&B
- TABC Certification
- Excel Knowledge is preferred
