While lacking any ranch experience or expertise, I can offer a strong work ethic and a desire to make a fresh start in life and leave my stultifying office job behind me. I left a six-year position, so I’m mainly looking for longer term opportunities.
I’m 30 years old and quite physically active, as well as open to relocation. I have worked manual jobs in the hot, humid Houston weather. I would need housing, but I don’t require much besides a stove, a quiet place to sleep, and room for my books and gym equipment. I carry a firearm daily but lack hunting experience. Unfortunately, I cannot entertain offers requiring significant exposure to wheat, either harvesting it as a crop or feeding it to livestock. If that sounds lame and you feel inclined to mock, ask yourself if you can eat 4+ pounds of meat for dinner, because I can and do.
