Description of Operation:
Approximately 2,500 acres under high fence with a large MLD program guided by a wildlife biologist; there is also a migratory waterfowl program along with a cattle operation and hay fields.
Position:
Experienced, professional, hands-on Ranch Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Plan and overseeing ranch projects including the development and implementation of management systems relating to the cattle/beef business.
- Maintain ranch infrastructures such as fences, ponds, roads, corals, water systems, housing, deer blinds, and buildings including repair and maintenance
- Lawn mowing, brush cutting, and weed eating,
- Clean ranch equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
- Simple welding
Qualifications:
- Must be hospitable, trustworthy, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Able to operate and maintain heavy equipment (all heavy equipment has been replaced with new in the last two years)
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing, the ability to be an approved driver for the company, and safely operate vehicles
- Willing to undergo and pass a background check and drug screen.
